6X19 Series Steel Wire Rope

This classification covers ropes with 6 strands having 8 to 26 wires per strand, no more than 12 wires of outer wires. 

Typical constructions:  6X19+FC , 6X19+IWS, 6X19+IWRC, 

                                         (1+6+12), round strand, 

Wire Rope Core:           Fiber Core and Independent steel core

Surface Treatment:       Unl-galvanized, Galvanized, 

Features: 

Flexible wire with good balance of abrasion, wear, crush and fatigue resistance, perform good in applications where bending fatique is the main concern at sheaves and drums of moderate size

Suggested Applications:

•  Winch lines, railings, suspension cables, boom pendants, boom hoists anchor lines, logging lines, tube lines

•  Widely used in the fabrication of wire rope slings. 

•  Also used as a hoisting rope on many older design overhead cranes.
